Capitol Worship’s mission is to nurture the community of legislators on Capitol Hill by sharing the love of Jesus with Congress one member at a time. Our belief is that policy issues are best reached through building strong personal and bi-partisan relationships; that a common faith between members is the strongest bridge for common understanding and a starting place for personal trust. We are constantly seeking new ideas, associations and advice to better serve the congressional community on Capitol Hill.
As a Guest Chaplain, Pastor Dan has opened the US House of Representatives with prayer on twenty-five occasions.
You meet a lot of interesting people on the Hill including Sampson the Camel who is the star of the annual Christmas Nativity in front of the Supreme Court. Pastor Dan and Sampson sang a duet together "We Three Kings." Not!!
Each year the Republicans and Democrats meet at Nationals Stadium for the traditional Congressional Baseball Game started in 1909.
